Full Job Description
We are excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity within our Hospital Discharge Team, where you will work towards achieving a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service.
This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment while developing your customer service skills and expertise.
Our Hospital Discharge team are at the forefront of providing advice, assessment and discharge planning for residents in Wiltshire. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, we ensure smooth transitions for customers from hospital to home or care facilities.
Your role will include a variety of business support functions, such as attending meetings and taking minutes, preparing statistics and spreadsheets, processing invoices and ensuring DBS clearances are completed on time. You will also help manage updates to our monthly newsletter, supervise charts, SharePoint permissions and Teams chats for new starters and leavers. Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting hospital weekend overtime claims.
Our ideal candidate will have some experience in administrative tasks and be familiar with Microsoft Office. Attention to detail, adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential.
