Full Job Description

  • Conduct tree surveys, risk assessments, and inspections along highways to identify health issues, structural weaknesses, and potential hazards.
  • Perform tree pruning, felling, and maintenance work in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with highways maintenance teams to minimize disruption and ensure efficient work practices.

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arborist to join our team, focusing on tree management and vegetation maintenance within the highways sector., Relevant arboricultural qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Arboriculture, NPTC/LANTRA certifications for chainsaw use, tree climbing, and aerial rescue).
  • Proven experience in tree maintenance and arboriculture, ideally within the highways or public infrastructure sector.
  • Knowledge of tree biology, disease identification, and best practices in tree care and maintenance.
