The Training Requirements Lead is responsible for the D Info TRA adherence to the Defence System Approach to Training (DSAT) process. This includes the management and governance through the respective Customer Executive Board and Working Groups in accordance with Defence Policy (JSP822) and Army Command Standing Orders, You will collaborate with a range of Defence and single Service TDA senior managers aiding their decisions through the provision of advice on how best to deliver training requirements that align with Army and Defence training policy. We are seeking applicants who are forward thinking, have initiative and can work proactively to achieve their outcomes and shared goals. Due to the variety of ranks of Service Personnel (SP) and grades of Civil Servants (CS), applicants will need to be highly effective communicators and confident to develop trusting working relationships with a variety of internal and external partners and stakeholders., Provide governance, leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary D Info Training Development Teams to support the delivery of capability development; ensuring priorities, service personnel reporting and career requirements are met in full in accordance with D Info and Defence policy. Lead and manage a team of circa 20 military personnel and civil servants. Lead an effective management of training system, formulate, set and validate training policy and Job Role Requirements across 2
- D Info Professions. To include CIS, Intelligence, Land CEMA, Security, Land Info Operations, Land Geospatial for soldiers and Officers to underpin Operational and contingent Capability for Regular, Reserves and civilian workforce in accordance with respective Customer Executive Board priorities. As the Senior Specialist Instructional Officer (SSIO) provide specialist technical Training and Educational advice for the Information Directorate including capability development. Advise D Info Assistant Head and Training Delivery Authorities on changes to Defence and Army training policy. Working with Training Delivery Authorities to prioritise, quality assure, authorise and record all routine trade training requirements, formal assessments and training issues and risks, ensuring that the role requirements and standards set by D Info are compliant with current Army and Defence directives, legislation, and policy, as directed. Ensure regulatory and training professional standards are adhered to and staff activity complies with Army and Defence policies and procedures as directed. Be prepared to represent Training Requirements Authority at customer executive boards, Army training steering and working groups as required. Champion Army Training profession on behalf of D Info Training Requirements Authority. Create a culture and environment of innovation, collaboration and empowerment to achieve new ways of maximising the training delivered to soldiers and Officers.
