As the Asset Co-ordinator as part of the Corporate Assets team, your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our portfolio of Public Buildings and open spaces are maintained to a high standard and in-line with statutory compliance regulations., From the start you will receive a warm welcome through an induction which will give you the opportunity to go through your role and responsibilities, terms of employment, learn about some of our key policies and procedures as well as provide you with some practical information to make the transition into your new role as smooth and effective as possible. We recognise that one approach does not fit all so we use a range of operational, developmental and statutory opportunities together with a combination of approaches and techniques to encourage and develop individual learning and growth. Employee Reviews are completed on a regular basis and coaching and mentoring is available to develop individual skills, knowledge and confidence.   • Experience of working with multi-trades persons, managing multiple jobs
  • Experience of creating and maintaining asset databases and financial monitoring returns
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads and find innovative solutions when necessary
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and relevant building/construction legislation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including staff, the general public, external contractors and council officials
  • Must be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team
