• Assisting the Buying team with procurement of materials and subcontractor packages
• Placing orders, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing
• Supporting with tendering, price negotiations, and supplier performance reviews
• Working closely with site teams to ensure materials are delivered on time
• Keeping up to date with market trends and new suppliers
  
  Are you an Assistant Buyer with experience in residential construction? Do you want to join a well-established house builder with a strong pipeline of projects?, Experience in an Assistant Buyer role within construction (ideally residential)
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and material buying
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and procurement software
