Full Job Description

The Department has a requirement for an Assistant Facility Manager, who will be responsible for the facilities management of the Departments buildings five within of the Keble Road Triangle site. You will report to the General Facilities Manager, working within the Facilities Management Team. The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities including: (full details are given in the Job description)

  • The line management of four staff, assigning workloads and performance management.
  • Management of related policies and procedures.
  • Management of cleaning, waste, and catering contracts.
  • Management of the Departmental insurance process.
  • Management of the reception.

    The successful candidate will be educated to NVQ 3 level or have equivalent qualifications and experience and will be able to demonstrate experience in facilities and contract management. You will be an excellent communicator with good IT skills with an attention to detail and a positive attitude to problem solving.
