Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers?

Due to the continued growth of the college, we are looking for a committed and proactive Assistant Head of Department for Science and Engineering to support the Head of Department (HOD) and uphold the College's shared values.

As the successful candidate, you will collaborate closely with the HOD to exemplify and promote our college values and behaviours. You will take initiative to enhance the student teaching and learning experience and attendance by engaging with students and their families, in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.

Your role will also involve supporting the HOD in maintaining a cohesive approach within the department. You will demonstrate your commitment to utilising the College's Information System (markbook/PI indicators/notes) effectively, ensuring that all at-risk students receive the monitoring and support they need to succeed.

It is essential that the successful candidate have prior teaching experience and qualifications within these specialisms and be qualified to teach within this curriculum area, enabling you to deliver a high quality teaching and learning to our students.

NSP 1 £30,500 to NSP 9 £47,133 plus £2,110 RA
