- Communicate the school's vision compellingly and support the Executive Headteacher's/Head of School's strategic leadership
- Secure highly effective teaching and learning at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Engage deeply with staff to enhance reflective practice through an extensive programme of Teaching and Learning CPD
- Ensure that language in all its forms is at the forefront of the school improvement agenda, driving achievement, progress and outcomes
- Contribute to the day-to-day management of the school
- Formulate the aims and objectives of the school, and establish policies to achieve these
- Manage staff and resources effectively to meet the school's goals
