Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Principal: Curriculum to join our senior management team. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering an innovative, high-quality and enriching curriculum that meets the needs of all our students.

In this role there will be a focus on working closely with the Vice Principal: Curriculum & Quality to implement the college's quality assurance processes, ensure that policies and procedures support effective teaching and learning, monitor the performance of students across the college and develop methods of sharing best practice. Other key areas of the role are the setting of challenging targets for departments to ensure continual improvement, contributing to the college's strategic plan and devising INSET related to curriculum areas.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing a large and varied portfolio, establishing strong working relationships with managers, staff and stakeholders as well as leading and motivating teams. Furthermore, they will have a thorough understanding of quality assurance processes and will be able to demonstrate excellent student outcomes including value added, retention and student satisfaction.
