Full Job Description

The Department of Psychology at the University of Warwick are looking to appoint two talented teaching focussed faculty members in Psychology to support our activities across our undergraduate and postgraduate offerings. We will consider candidates with a wide range of expertise but for one of the posts, we particularly encourage applications from candidates able to teach in the area of social psychology You will be expected to develop and deliver lectures, seminars, practical classes and tutorials, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects. Alongside teaching we actively encourage our teaching focussed staff to engage in research activities and development.

The post is responsible to the Head of Department.

Applications are invited for two full time, 1-year fixed-term posts at the level of Teaching Fellow or Assistant Professor (Teaching Focussed)., You will have a first degree and a PhD in Psychology (or closely related area) awarded (Assistant Professor) or very close to completion (Teaching Fellow). Successful applicants will have a strong teaching track record in the higher education sector, and evidence of producing and delivering research-based teaching.
