Full Job Description

The SEND Assessment and Review Team is going through a period of development and investment, and this is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to help shape and influence the future success of a dynamic and growing SEND service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the SEND Team as an Assistant Caseworker.
You will administer efficiently, under the direction of the responsible Caseworker, the statutory duties of the Local Authority as set out in the Children and Families Act ( 2014) and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice (2015) regarding the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment, planning and review process.
Through a range of administrative tasks, you will contribute to the day to day delivery of an efficient statutory SEND service.
You will collate documentation, input data and send out relevant paperwork in accordance with the statutory duties.
