Since 1980, we've been at the heart of our community, delivering expert, compassionate end-of-life care. Our shops are more than just retail outlets-they're hubs of community spirit and fundraising success. With 18 locations and a brilliant team of staff and volunteers, we're proud to support people when they need us most.

Hours: 15 hours per week (two days a week, which will include working weekends and some bank holidays)

What is the role?
We're looking for someone proactive, customer-focused, and community-minded to help drive sales, engage our volunteers, and support the day-to-day running of the shop. This is more than just a retail job - it's a chance to make a real difference locally.
As Assistant Shop Manager, you'll:
o Support the shop manager in achieving sales targets and delivering a fantastic customer experience
o Help coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers
o Ensure attractive stock displays and merchandising to maximise sales
o Promote Gift Aid donations and manage donations effectively
o Contribute to the development of new promotions and other improvements to retail practice
o Take full responsibility in the Shop Manager's absence (including occasional full-time cover)

You must tell us about any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.

You will need to hold a full driving licence and be flexible to cover other shops in our catchment area when needed.
