A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to become an Assistant Supplier Relationship Officer, within the recently restructured Finance Department, at the University of South Wales. Based at Pontypridd, but with remote working also possible, this role will provide you with an

opportunity to utilise and develop your supplier relationship management, stakeholder engagement and sustainable procurement knowledge, collaborating with both stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value and initiatives for USW, our students, our partners and the wider community.

Specifically, this role will be the Assistant Supplier Relationship Officer to our key and strategic suppliers, supporting the University's supplier engagement approach, where the supply chain's potential to support the USW 2030 strategy is understood and realized. The role is responsible for supplier onboarding, the ongoing monitoring and measurement of supplier performance and reporting of the supply chain's legislative compliance.

We are looking for a candidate with experience of building supplier and stakeholder relationships and excellent engagement skills, who can proactively build a network (both internally and externally), so collaborative supply chain opportunities can be explored and delivered. Knowledge and experience of HE/ public sector procurement is desirable but not essential. Credible, demonstrable planning and reporting skills are essential., Disability Confident
