Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint passionate and experienced Assistant Team Managers within our Children With Complex Needs Team to join our dynamic Children's Services Team here at Sefton Council.
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will have direct responsibility for a small number of children whilst playing a vital role in supporting the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of a team of Social Workers and other professionals in the delivery of statutory and legislative duties and requirements. You will be critical in ensuring the key performance targets as they apply to the team, the service and the Council are met.

We are seeking individuals who have extensive, relevant experience of working with children, young people, and families; using direct work skills and observation to gain the voice and experiences of children and young people. Candidates will be committed to working transparently in partnership with children, young people and families, and partner agencies in a strength-based way.
If you are Social Work England registered and have a Social Work Degree or equivalent Social Work Qualification with relevant experience we would love to hear from you.
We offer competitive salaries between SCP 36-39 £45,718 - £48,710 In addition 'Market Rate Supplements' of up to £5,000 are available.
