Assistant Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modeller - London

We are currently in the market to recruit multiple Assistant Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers into our London Team for a variety of major long-term frameworks across the UK. RPS work on a range of long-term programmes across the UK water industry. • Assist in developing and calibrating hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM.
• Participate in data collection, management, and analysis for various wastewater projects.
• Contribute to preparing technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Support the development of solutions to manage urban drainage, improve water quality, and control pollution.
• Provide technical support to clients, addressing their inquiries and feedback.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, standards, and new technologies in wastewater modelling to foster innovation.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of modelling processes and methodologies.

• Relevant experience in the water industry.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.
• Knowledge of modelling software (InfoWorks ICM) and GIS systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Skilled in manipulating, handling, and analysing large datasets.
• Experience with bespoke software and programming such as FME, Visual Basic, and Power BI is beneficial.
• A general understanding of and interest in the UK water industry.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills., Preferably degree qualified in a relevant technical subject. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
