Lightbulb is a partnership Programme supported by the seven District Councils in Leicestershire and Leicestershire County Council. It brings together a range of practical housing support into a single point of access or referral. The overall ambition is to maximise the contribution that support can play in keeping vulnerable people independent in their homes. You will play a crucial role in the implementation of the service.
The team is currently undergoing a service review, and we are looking for an Assistive Technology Coordinator to help shape the future of the Home Gadgets project.
You will be expected to put together standard operating procedures to enable available support to be easily accessed by our residents, produce and present reports to stakeholders to demonstrate the support and equipment being offered to our residents, and piloting various initiatives.
You will have an understanding of smart or assistive technology and a willingness to expand knowledge, experience of working in a housing, health or social care setting (including experience in the voluntary sector with this focus).
Ability to prioritise own workload, meet deadlines and produce quality services are essential, as are excellent customer services skills.
This position will be hybrid working, with a requirement to attend the office on a regular basis and attendance at events. You will also be expected to deliver and help service users with installation of their gadgets across the County., Benefits of working with us include a local government pension scheme, exciting career opportunities, flexible working including a flexi-time scheme and out of town offices with free car parking and cycle bays.
