Associate, Equity Solutions (London)

The primary purpose of the position will be to assist in the development of the Equity Solutions product area in EMEA. At Associate level, this will be directly supporting and reporting into the MD responsible for European Equity Solutions. This role will be based on the private side of the wall. The successful applicant will help ensure that there is a material increase in client dialogues which will in turn drive revenues in line with the mid-term business plan. What will you do?

• Help build the opportunity pipeline.
• prepare internal presentations to ensure product awareness
• Provide timely follow ups on potentially interesting situations
• factual research, preparation of client pitching materials and obtaining/verifying product pricing from the traders.
• The Associate will also drive the trade execution process; ensuring approvals have been obtained and risk monitored on live transaction on an ongoing basis
• Able to produce high quality client marketing materials on a timely basis.
  
  Degree level educated or equivalent
• Self-motivated
• Team Player
• Good Communication Skills
• Excellent modelling capabilities
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Nice to have
• Knowledge of Equities (including cash, derivatives and equity linked)
• Experience of derivatives pricing
• Understanding of the ISDA legal framework
• Equity derivatives pricing experience
• Able to demonstrate a track record of managing the execution of complex (often cross border) transactions within an IB or other regulated FI., Job Skills Adaptability, Critical Thinking, Customer Service, Detail-Oriented, Financial Engineering, Financial Statement Analysis, Investments Analysis, Personal Development, Personal Initiative, Teamwork
