We are looking for an Associate to join our European Corporate Coverage team in London. Duties and Responsibilities Critical member of the Energy, Power & Resources Group, supporting business development, origination and portfolio management activities across a portfolio of major Mining & Commodity Trading clients. Key aspects of the role are: Preparation/coordination of client and prospect pitches/presentations Financial modelling and corporate finance analysis of clients and prospects/targets - both 'ordinary course' and event-driven Identification of new business opportunities that support the team in building and deepening sustainable client relationships Close collaboration with EMEA CIB product areas and overseas teams Regular maintenance of client accounts and Salesforce Completion of internal briefing memos, committee papers, KYC, and other ad-hoc portfolio requests Coordination and execution of transactions by working with the senior Coverage Bankers and relevant internal

stakeholders Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Bachelors Degree or equivalent Corporate finance experience/qualification highly desirable Strong knowledge of, and interest in, the global energy, mining and commodities sectors Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication skills Strong numerical and analytical skills, including financial modelling Customer-centric approach Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful team performance Sound knowledge of the Banking Industry High level of computer literacy and skills in data manipulation / presentation Language skills are an asset, but not essential We champion a flexible work environment, as we understand the need for people to meet other commitments or simply strike a good work-life balance.
