Associate Lecturer in 3D Design for UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join Brighton Met as an associate lecturer in 3D Design to support teaching on our highly successful and internationally renowned UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.
Our UAL Foundation Diploma provision is outstanding and has a strong reputation for quality; seeing many of our students progress to the very best universities. This role will give the right candidate a rare opportunity to join our flagship provision which attracts over 200 students each year. Standards are very high and this is a challenging role but one with great diversity and opportunity for personal development.
The successful candidate will report to the Teaching and Learning Manager in ensuring the highest standards are delivered at all times, will be on hand to support internal quality reviews and standardisation and will be an outstanding, experienced teacher.
We are looking for someone exceptional, who has the practical skills and lecturing confidence to teach across a variety of 3D Design specialisms. Students typically opt for specialisms in either prop-making, ceramics, architecture, set-design, furniture design, product design and jewellery. We have a range of well-equipped specialist workshops to offer our students a broad range of options in terms of materials and processes and have an outstanding facility for working in wood, plastics, metals and hot metals.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a degree or masters in the 3D design or 3D making field and preferably a successful practitioner in the arts.
If you have lecturing experience in the FE sector, are a qualified lecturer and can deliver outstanding lessons in 3D Design then this could be the ideal post for you.
