As an Associate Operations Director, you will take responsibility for overseeing and optimising our operations across various categories, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with our strategic goals. This role encompasses leadership in facilities, compliance and procurement; championing initiatives that improve processes and foster workplace culture. For this role, you will need to be based a commutable distance from Leamington and work in the studio the majority of the week.,
- Chairing regular studio operations meetings with the HR, IT, and Office teams to align on ongoing projects, address challenges, streamline processes, and ensure smooth collaboration across departments.
- Developing and maintaining a roadmap for studio and office operational projects, focusing on long-term goals and compliance with business growth.
- Providing regular updates to the Studio Leadership Team, focusing on key issues, roadmaps, and strategic direction.
- Motivating and mentoring the office team, providing leadership that fosters collaboration and career growth within the wider area of operations.
What we are looking for from a Third Kinder You would: - Manage the operational logistics of office expansion and project planning with external suppliers, our leads and teams.
- Lead the way to create and evolve breathtaking, functional workspaces that are aligned with business needs and set high standards.
- Review and manage our GDPR policies, oversee health and safety compliance, ensuring that all staff are trained and follow established protocols.
- Support the operational processes and frameworks for ISO 27001 certification.
- Manage supplier relationships, identifying areas for streamlining and cost optimisation.
- Manage and track the operations department budget, ensuring responsible spending and effective use of the budget.
- Collaborate with the office team to design and implement sustainable initiatives that are practical, data-driven, and aligned with our long-term business objectives.
- Measure and optimise key performance metrics for operational processes.
- Support the evolution and scaling of HR processes to accommodate team growth.
- Collaborate with IT and HR to identify process improvements and streamline systems for greater efficiency.
- Champion hybrid working and ensure that our operations work equally well both in the office and at home.
- Support the planning and also represent the studio at external events alongside PR, HR and the recruitment team.
- Champion DE&I initiatives that promote a diverse workforce and inclusive environment.
- Help to build the next generation of Third Kinders by working with HR and the production team to structure career plans and prepare young talent for future leadership roles.
Personable with strong communication and relationship-building skills - Good Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
