Full Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your coordination, communication, and data analysis skills in the role of Attendance and Engagement Coordinator. Working within the Student Success team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the University's commitment to student engagement, retention, and success.

You will lead the implementation and delivery of the University's attendance and engagement monitoring processes, ensuring students who are not engaging are identified early so that timely and effective interventions can be made. Through strong collaboration with academic and professional services colleagues, you will help create a supportive environment where students are given every opportunity to thrive in their studies.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing the University's attendance policy process, managing student queries, analysing attendance and engagement data, and liaising with course teams to support students at risk of disengagement. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of staff training, ensuring that the attendance system is used consistently and effectively across the institution.

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the student journey by fostering engagement, delivering targeted support, and enhancing the overall student experience. You will work closely with colleagues in Student Success, Academic Registry, and other key departments, ensuring that data-informed decisions and personalised support approaches are at the heart of what we do.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. If you are passionate about student success and ready to take the lead on a process that makes a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
