Attendance Officer Scale S01: (£35,577 - £36,567) 36 hours x 52 weeks per annum (flexible working requests will be considered) We wish to appoint an exceptional individual to work as an Attendance Officer within our Administrative Team, to eliminate barriers to learning by ensuring that the school works in partnership with families, parents and carers so that every student can achieve and realise their potential. The Attendance Officer will work alongside key school staff in school to promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance. The successful candidate for the post would ideally have:

  • A degree
  • Relevant qualification to support the role
  • Expert level IT and a/v skills including proficiency in a range of IT programmes and equipment use that are required for this role: knowledge of MIS systems is desirable, particularly SIMS
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct others or respond appropriately to others even in pressurised situations
