It is essential that you are able to demonstrate your expert knowledge in the field of employee relations and have up to date working knowledge of employment law; keeping yourself informed with legislative changes and best practices, which focus on people rather than process.

You will be innovative, team-focused, and able to demonstrate how you follow the just culture principles in your approach.

Please note the interviews will take place in person on Friday 13 December 2024 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

You will be well versed in; working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple conflicting demands and pressures, whilst continuing to provide guidance to the wider management team and managing a caseload of varied employee relation matters such as disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and performance improvement.

Led by the Trust's Group Chief People Officer, the People Directorate is the epicentre of employee relations and organisational development. Recognising the importance of this department, we are expanding our advisory team across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with the creation of a new Band 5 People Advisor opportunity.
