Full Job Description

Working in a small and friendly team within a larger CNS team, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of other dedicated and highly skilled healthcare professionals to care for patients and their families, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice and actively improving the way we work., To work as a skilled practitioner and be responsible for the delivery of patient-focused programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of the client group in your caseload. To work with other professional groups in secondary and primary settings to develop and maintain holistic services for patients.

We are looking for experienced, motivated and ambitious nurses who want to work in a friendly, supportive and innovative environment. You will be joining a busy team who are passionate about providing the highest quality care for people living with and beyond cancer.,

  • Registered Nurse
  • 1st degree or equivalent experience
  • Specialist academic study in area
  • Masters level study - for band 7
  • Desirable
  • Advanced communication skills training
  • Completion of ACCEND capabilities in practice
  • Experience Essential
  • Significant post registration experience
  • Relevant post registration experience in cancer or appropriate speciality (at level 6 or above for band 7)
  • Experience in facilitation / teaching / assessing
  • Experience of multi-professional working
  • understanding of audit and research (experience of this for band 7)
  • Evidence of advanced communication skills
