Full Job Description

The Urgent Care Services is an innovative and fast developing team delivering mental health assessment, intervention, care planning, signposting and onward referrals for patients . We are offering you an opportunity to become a specialist nurse in the Urgent Care Directorate, develop your assessment skills and be part of this innovative team. You will be given the opportunities to rotate across the below areas:

  • Psychiatric Decision Unit
  • Place of Safety Suite
  • Street Triage team
  • Call before to Convey Services
  • NHS 111
  • You must be a qualified mental health nurse with experience of leading a team within clinical settings and be prepared to work across a 24 hour rota. It is important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with mental health problems . You will be expected to under take front-line assessments, signposting, liaise with acute colleagues, and develop safe clinical management discharge plans.
