Band 7 Projectional Imaging Reporting Radiographer

An exciting Band 7 Projectional Imaging Reporting Radiographer opportunity has arisen at Musgrove Park hospital, working in a busy and forward thinking radiology department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated reporting radiographer who is passionate about projectional imaging.

This role will see you working alongside a multidisciplinary team in our emergency, trauma and orthopaedic department as well as in our GP, inpatient and outpatient peripheral settings.

We currently hold QSI accreditation, demonstrating high standard in patient safety, staff well being, and clinical governance.

We offer a robust preceptorship programme and a wide range of CPD opportunities, both within the department and through the online learning platform for the trust.

The trust has a supportive well being programme available to all staff, and the department has Well being Champions offering immediate support.

Main duties of the job

Reporting examinations in accordance with an agreed scheme of work for independent image interpretation.

To deliver Hot Reporting services for A&E and MIU patients during agreeing timeframes, ensuring this is done in a timely fashion.

To take a lead role for development and training of staff within Diagnostic Imaging Department.

To act as a Team Leader for Radiology staff.
