Full Job Description

As a band 7 rotational clinical pharmacist, you will be part of the pharmacy clinical ward team to help deliver a high quality specialist service to our patients and the MDT. We will support in developing your leadership and mentoring skills with an opportunity to line manage pharmacists. Each post has an extended rotation of 1 year with management and project opportunities. including Gastro / Renal, ICU/ Nutrition, Admissions, Pediatrics, Surgery, Care of Elderly, Education and Training., The Pharmacist is responsible for professional aspects of the day-to-day pharmaceutical service provided by the Trust. To work closely with other members of the pharmacy team to provide a clinical pharmacy service to wards and to assist in developing pharmaceutical services.

  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Desirable criteria
  • Member of UKCPA
  • Diploma in clinical pharmacy or General Pharmacy Practice., Hospital Pharmacy Experience
  • Extensive multi-disciplinary Teamwork
  • Extensive patient contact

  • Audit experience
  • Experience of Pharmacy computer technology, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
