Full Job Description

We are looking for Bank Physiotherapists to join our Reablement Teams based across Bath and North East Somerset! The Reablement Service is a short-term service which supports and works with people, either in their own home or in Residential or Nursing Homes aiming to maximise and maintain independence through the provision of rehabilitation and support. You will join a supportive and multi-disciplinary team consisting of Reablement Therapy Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Care Co-Ordinators and Administrative support. The team also works closely with local GP's and other community services such as District Nurses and Social Workers. This is a seven-day service, providing opportunities to work weekends and bank holidays, offering flexibility to suit your schedule. This role will involve travel around Bath and North East Somerset area so will require a Full UK Driving License and access to a car.,

  • Carry out physiotherapeutic assessment, diagnosis and treatment with patients with diverse presentations and a range of physical and psychological conditions
  • Hold responsibility for own case load working with rehabilitation therapy workers to deliver therapeutic programmes as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide effective supervision to junior physiotherapists, students, Reablement therapy workers and administrators within the team
  • Liaise with family members/relatives and carers and other third-party organisations
  • Attend and participating in team meetings and in-service training
  • Receive support from the Physiotherapy Professional Lead and own dedicated Reablement Learning and Development Lead Clinician, Access to our free well-being service available 24/7/365 online and by telephone including; counsellors, post trauma incident support, legal, debt and practical life management helpline, guided self-help, telephonic career coaching and monthly well-being newsletters

    You must hold a Degree in Physiotherapy
  • You will be a Registered Physiotherapist with HCPC
  • Hold a Full UK Driver's License and have access to a car/vehicle as you will be required to travel across the Bath and North East Somerset area
