Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Administrator to join HCA Healthcare UK on a Bank basis. You will be assisting the team to clear the back-log before the launch of our new internal system. You will provide a responsive, efficient, accurate and secure service for the storage, management and distribution of medical records. This is an ongoing part time bank role, 3 days per week (flexible on which days). You will need to be able to work from any of our London Hospitals including: London Bridge, The Portland, The Princess Grace Hospital, The Harley Street Clinic, The Lister Hospital and The Wellington Hospital. You will know in advance at which Hospital you will be based and how long for. All training for this role will be provided. Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life.   • To process enquiries regarding medical records from patients and their legal representatives, as well as medical and Hospital employees.
  • To file incoming reports/correspondence into patient records.
  • Prepare files for storage, archiving and microfilming.
  • Liaison with storage companies for safe disposal of records
  • To provide records or information on request.
  • Filing, photocopying, letter writing, dealing with telephone enquiries and sundries as required.
  • Be responsible for development and maintenance of filing systems.
  • Inputting of data as and when required.
  • Responsible for identifying and appropriately rectifying duplicate patient medical records.

    Previous experience within a medical records department would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Previous experience in collating and interpreting data.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent administrative skills.

  • Rates inclusive of WTR include indicative additional amount separately payable on claiming accrued annual leave. WTR is calculated on the average hourly pay rate over the preceding 52 weeks and may therefore differ from the amount included in the above WTR rates
