Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Bids team in City & Guilds as a Bid Coordinator. You will work across the different business units to source procurement opportunities for UK and International tenders and support the preparation and submission of bids. This includes organising meetings, structuring and writing bid content for SQs/PQQs,coordinating relevant activities and document management., Day-to-day you will review daily procurement alerts, to source bids for our different business units to tender for. For live bids you will work with our Bid Managers,supporting in the end-to-end bid process. This includes reviewing customer documents and submission requirements, filling out selection questionnaires, organising meetings, raising clarification questions and managing coordinating bid submission on procurement portals. You'll work alongside multiple teams across City & Guilds to gain their insight and input into bid responses. You will work on a wide range of bids, from smaller, short contracts to multi-million £ opportunities and will gain a detailed understanding of the City & Guilds business and our products and services offering. You will support the Head of Bids in maintaining our bid pipeline and keeping our bid library up to date with the latest policies and certificates.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, who has experience working to deadlines. You can be based anywhere across the UK but you must be willing to attend meetings at our London office when required., The key to this role is being highly organised, coordinating activities in a multi- stakeholder environment where there are a lot of moving parts and tight timeframes. We are looking for someone who is proactive and has an aptitude to learn and succeed; both will be paramount to your position within our highly motivated team. You should have a passion for detail, excellent communication skills, alongside great interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and get the best from them during the bid process. You'll need to be able to demonstrate sound experience of working in a fast-paced environment and consistently meeting deadlines.
