Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Biomethane focussed Programme Specialist has become available in the Future Energy team here at Cadent!
The successful individual will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support function to the Future Connections Team, working across all projects that are part of the Biomethane portfolio specifically the Biomethane Entry Connections, Entry Reinforcement, the Enabling Green Gas Workstream, and any other significant projects. The role will require excellent communication and organisational skills and will involve liaising at all levels internally as well as working externally with Producers, Local Authorities, and other external contractors. This role will be responsible for leading the necessary projects to support the Programme Manager, Senior Project Delivery Engineers, and Work Delivery Leads, enabling them to effectively deliver the programme of projects on time, within budget and within scope, meeting the needs of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Process and Documentation Management:Leading in the production and support on the maintenance of project scope documents and business cases, project plans, risk registers, issues logs, lessons learnt reports and other project related documents (i.e. business cases, Data analysis).
- Project Reporting:To produce and co-ordinate the production of project reporting on a regular basis to all project stakeholders. Also to monitor and report on the completion of the delivery schedule (Work Delivery Programme for all workstreams) and support the Programme Manager.

- Project Meeting Management:To lead the delivery of all key meetings within your portfolio of projects, including, scheduling and management of attendance, preparing agendas and papers, creating meeting packs when required, writing minutes, tracking meeting actions, setting up IT

- Communication & Stakeholder Management:To lead on projects and ensure excellent lines of communication between all stakeholders across the entry connections process. To complete financial reports when required and to support with the processing of POs and preparation of budget tracking processes.

Leading Projects and supporting Programme Managers and their Teams
- Understand Project Management requirements
- Good attention to detail and application to business improvement activities
- Good communication skills
- Experience of operating and maintaining processes for: regulatory compliance, governance and finance, data/document management
- Experience of co-ordinating activities across Cadent
- Experienced in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of SAP from a finance and procurement user perspective, ability to use Teams to manage information and proficient with excel
