We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk. Our client is a gentleman in his 50's who lives in his own accommodation with 24 hour care, he enjoys photography and film, likes motorbikes, sailing and has recently started to cook his own meals with the support of his care team. Due to an acquired brain injury he has speech and language issues and requires support with mobility, medication, accessing the community and attending appointments, alongside day to day needs around environment and cooking., The successful candidate will need to be female, a non-smoker, have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, be a clear communicator in English, be comfortable working alongside a very engaged family, be physically capable and a confident cook. Key responsibilities include engaging with personalised routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records of care.
