The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with various parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of the Business Administrator Apprentice contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness that is required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, to gain practical experience and a nationally recognised qualification. As part of the role, you will be involved in co-ordinating events ranging from seminars led by world leading academics through to black tie dinners. Our Professional services team collaborate and share skills across the roles so that our apprentices develop and gain skills integral to any future business administration career path. We are an active part of the Biomedical campus, and you will be part of a team that facilitates that relationship to the highest standard.

Cambridge University's VPD Heart and Lung Research Institute (HLRI) is seeking a dedicated Business Administration Apprentice to be part of a team that is at the forefront of biomedical research. As part of the VPD-HLRI team within the Department of Medicine, you'll contribute to our mission of advancing global heart and lung health. With 400 staff members, our Institute is committed to delivering impactful research to combat cardiovascular and respiratory diseases worldwide. The impressive sustainable building contains laboratories, a Clinical Research Facility (CRF), office space and an assortment of seminar and conference rooms.
