Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead a team of up to 10 Personal Move Assistants at our Colchester Head Office. This role involves driving sales, managing team performance, and ensuring excellent customer service. Main Duties and Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

  • Achieve team KPI targets by securing new listing opportunities through proactive customer engagement.
  • Enhance team performance through targeted training and development.
  • Drive the sales process, ensuring business growth and client retention.
  • Represent and promote Spicerhaart's brand values and core beliefs.
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks for regional branches.
  • Operate within company standards, policies, and systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with branch managers and regional teams.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and return-to-work meetings.

    Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (based on sales management experience) + 10% override on team's commission (uncapped) Working hours: Rota pattern covering early and late shifts Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and 11am to 8pm. 1 in 3 Saturdays with a day off in lieu the following week.,
