Full Job Description
The Business Partner (Governance, Risk and Assurance) will be responsible for developing and implementing governance arrangements, which includes supporting the Karbon Group Board and its committees and subsidiary boards, ensuring that sound governance practices are embedded in line with the NHF Code of Governance and regulatory requirements.
The role will also support the delivery of risk and assurance arrangements, which includes working in partnership with areas of the business to ensure that risks are being identified and reviewed on a continuous basis and are being managed effectively.

We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified individual for the role of Business Partner (Governance, Risk and Assurance) in the Governance Directorate. Working within the Governance, Risk and Assurance Team you will support the delivery of governance, risk, assurance and company secretarial services, by building strong working relationships and working in partnership with other areas of the business., We are looking to appoint a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who has excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong record of experience in the delivery of social housing governance services. This experience could include supporting boards and committees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and codes of practice, and/or pro-active risk management.
You will either hold, or be working towards, Chartered Governance Professional status.
You will have the ability to lead on key pieces of work, to use your own judgment and take ownership of decision making. You will possess a good level of written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with the personal credibility to influence a range of stakeholders.
