Full Job Description
As a Facilities Assistant you will be expected to undertake some or all of the following tasks (dependent on the building requirements):
To carry out reception duties, including the welcoming of visitors to the building and dealing with enquiries from members of the public.
Handling incoming calls and enquiries into the service from a variety of sources, offering advice and assistance, signposting where necessary.
Dealing with room bookings via an electronic room booking function. Setting up the meeting rooms with equipment and the appropriate layout including, crockery / cutlery and refreshment supplies. The clearing down of rooms after events / meetings.
The use of a variety of systems across the authority - including hybrid mail, the use of Teams channels and Microsoft solutions.
We are looking for team players who have the skills, experience and flexibility to enable them to prioritise and manage several tasks within a busy fast paced environment. Exceptional IT skills, including working with MS 365, Office and Teams are essential attributes.
Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement. Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process.
