Please note - the location for this post could be potential bases across Humber North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and WestYorkshire. As part of the core Yorkshire and Humber Dental CommissioningTeam, you will work with colleagues from across 3 ICB areas at an exciting anddeveloping time for dental services. Thepost holder will support and assist the Programme Lead for Yorkshire and Humber(Y&H) and the wider Dental Commissioning Team with a broad range ofcorporate affairs duties. The post holder will act as a point of contact for a widerange of day-to-day business support matters, helping the smooth running of theteam's meetings and networks. The role will require highly developedinterpersonal communication skills to maintain effective working relationshipsinternally and externally. Thepost holder will be expected to be flexible and capable of working on their owninitiative to contribute to the delivery of the strategic goals of the ICB withreference to either the Programme Lead or Deputy Director of DentalCommissioning where necessary. Main duties of the job The role will provide specialistadministrative and project support and advice to the Yorkshire and HumberDental Commissioning Team, as well as wider support where required. The role will provide support includingleading on a range of governance meetings and clinical networks. This willinclude the development of agendas, the distribution of papers, taking minutesand maintaining, the collation and distribution of feedback and analysis andupdating action logs and risk logs. The role will establish and maintain sites,databases and tools for the team including on Sharepoint and the Future NHSCollaboration Platform to enable the sharing of resources. The role will manage the electronic diaryfor the Deputy Director of the team, including arranging, changingappointments, and prioritising these as appropriate in liaison with the DeputyDirector. The role will input, monitor, and checkdata, required for time-bound and ongoing projects within the team, includingperformance reports and project specific highlight / progress reports, liaisingwith key individuals to ensure deadlines are met., The post holder will support and assist the Programme Lead for Yorkshire and Humber (Y&H) and the wider Dental Commissioning Team with a broad range of corporate affairs duties. - Educated to NVQ level 4 in a relevant subject or equivalent previous proven experience.
The Yorkshire and Humber(Y&H) Dental Commissioning Team is hosted by Humber and North Yorkshire(HNY) Integrated Care Board (ICB) but works across the 3 ICB areas of HNY,South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
Theteam is key to providing consistency and support across the 3 ICBs areas and inthis role you will develop strong working relationships with a range ofcolleagues. Through a hybrid workingenvironment of both home-working and in-office days, you will work withlike-minded individuals who are keen to improve access to dental services andto improve health outcomes of those living across Yorkshire and Humber. It is a hard-working and busy team, with maycompeting priorities, but very rewarding and fast-paced, with plenty ofopportunity to learn from others and develop your skills.
