An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer (Level 2) to provide a dedicated business support function to the Advice and Guidance Service Team, which is part of Children's Directorate based in Etrop Court, Wythenshawe. The main duties of the role:
- Provide support to Management\Social Workers and contribute to the accurate production of data/relevant information required for statutory and non-statutory means.
- Using initiative to resolve queries within agreed timescales and to a high standard as it has a direct impact on the lives of children, young people and their families.
- Attention to detail is key, be able to prioritise your work, manage your time and be able to adhere to strict deadlines and follow procedures.
- Administration and minuting/recording of actions of Domestic Abuse Child Concern Meetings. We are looking to recruit highly organised individuals who will be expected to provide confidential, accurate and timely administrative duties to the operational team and contribute to the accurate production of data/relevant information required for statutory and non-statutory means. You should possess commitment to team working, be proactive in your work ethic, able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines, be expected to show initiative and be responsive to the needs of the service. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of expertise in minute taking. Knowledge and understanding of IT packages including Microsoft with excellent keyboard and analytical skills to support with data collection. Use initiative to resolve queries within agreed timescales and to a high standard as it has a direct impact on the lives of children, young people and their families. The post holders will also need to be an effective communicator with good written skills which would support them in communicating with internal and external partners.
