Business Systems Analyst
This role is within the Student Information Systems (SIS) team that is part of Registry Services at Solent University.
The successful candidate will be working with users of our current student record system, SITS and take a technical lead on Projects to introduce new or revised system functionality. We will expect you to have great communication skills, be able to build excellent team-working relationships and complete tasks to a high standard. You'll be an important member of the SIS team, providing second and third line support to our staff from Registry, Admissions, Student Support, Finance, HR and the Faculties.
You will handle a wide range of tasks including:
- the development and maintenance of batch processes, tasks and workflows, vistas and SRLs,
- creating and maintaining project builds,
- setting up and maintaining audit processes,
- taking a lead role in the preparation of SITS for upgrades and patches,
- ensuring system parameters are configured correctly,
- creating required style sheets and regression testing.
We expect that you will have knowledge of Higher Education and the SITS student record system.
