Buyer

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating the best prices for goods and services, identifying opportunities for new suppliers, and managing relationships with both new and existing suppliers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a buyer within a manufacturing or engineering environment, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities as Buyer
 
- Source and negotiate the best prices for goods and services
- Identify opportunities for new suppliers and manage relationships with existing suppliers
- Liaise internally and externally with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery
- Adhere to continuous improvement practices across the business

Qualifications as Buyer 

- Previous experience as a buyer within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
