Buying Assistant - Own Brand Menswear

Day to day you will understand the category critical path and supply chain, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function. You will be responsible for sample management and maintaining the sample library.

We're looking for a Buying Assistant who already has experience at this level, having buying experience or transferable skills in a relevant profession and who can demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for buying. The skills and behaviours imperative to being a successful buying assistant candidate here at The Very Group are; commercially aware, able to build relationships, strong communication skills, can demonstrate initiative, enjoys problem solving, interpreting data and excellent attention to detail. About You. Previous experience in Buying as a buying assistant or buyers admin assistant is beneficial but not essential:

• A passion for Menswear fashion
• Ability to understand the customer
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload
• A great attitude and willing to learn
• Proficient in Excel
