Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a CAMHS Eating Disorder Family Therapist who wishes to join our team. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care., The post holder will provide evidenced based systemic family therapy to a range of CYP, under CAMHS with varying degrees of need. The successful candidate will review and assess cases where a systemic family therapy intervention may be required. The post holder will be the lead clinician for allocated family therapy cases. You will provide active and effective supervision to junior family therapy staff members. The post holder will receive clinical, managerial and caseload supervision, as part of their remit. The post holder will complete documentation to Trust standards. To provide high quality systemic family therapy treatment, in conjunction with other professionals and work in partnership with other agencies to provide seamless, flexible services, which meets the systemic family focused service user and carer needs., Further information about the Trust and this role can be found on the Job Description and Person Specification document attached. We are looking for an experienced Family Therapist to work within the CAMHS team who has experience of working with children and young people with eating disorders.,

  • Post graduate qualification in appropriate mental health / social care profession.
  • Masters level qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy.
  • Eligibility for UKCP registration.
  • Registration as clinical supervisor.
  • Experience Essential
  • Experience as a family therapist working within children's services.
  • The willingness to be flexible and work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the best therapeutic approach to children and families.
