Full Job Description

We are recruiting Cancer Clinical Care Coordinato to work within the Nurse Specialist teamwho shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. As part of a 2-year Pilot, the Macmillan Cancer Care Coordinator (MCCC) will work alongside the Clinical Nurse Specialists in Skin and Lung cancers to ensuring a safe and efficient service for patients. The MCCC will function at a higher competency level with responsibility for actively participating and being part of the multidisciplinary team. Our Values are Include, Respect and Improve. You will provide a seamless service to patients with proximal supervision from the tumour specific Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). The MCCC will have the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute towards the provision of providing a high standard of evidence-based care, supporting the management and supervision of patients throughout their treatment pathway. It is anticipated that this role will continue to develop through the acquisition of further skills, knowledge and competencies to be determined within the clinical team with the focus on patient needs.
