An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardio-Respiratory Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital for a Band 2 Technical Assistant.

You will assist with providing a range of cardiac investigations on inpatients and outpatients whilst supported by a team of Cardiac Physiologists.

This role will include performing 12 Lead ECG's on both inpatients and outpatients. Independently fitting ambulatory 24/48 hour ECG monitors and longer Cardiac Event Monitors. Setting up and downloading ambulatory ECG monitors in readiness for analysis. Fitting ambulatory Blood Pressure monitors and printing off results. Opportunity to complete the SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography.

Technical Assistants are an active members of the Cardio-Respiratory team, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the service. In addition, the post holder will ensure courtesy, privacy, confidentiality and respect at all times to patients, relatives, staff and colleagues.
