We are looking for Care Assistants at our Short Breaks Service. We support adults who have profound and multiple learning disabilities, some of whom have behaviours that challenge.

  • You will positively engage with people, showing your respect for them as an individual, working in a person-centred way.
  • Your skills, knowledge and experience will enable you to recognise, promote and develop a person's strengths and abilities whilst equipping you to support with any physical, emotional and social requirements they may have.
  • You will ensure that a person's right to privacy, dignity and choice are at the foundation of all you do.
  • You will support and assist people with their health, wellbeing and personal care, paying particular attention to the individual's plans.
  • Care, welfare, safety and security is everyone's responsibility, ensuring that you follow relevant policies and procedure will enable us all to work safely.
