Full Job Description

Providing personalised support to individuals, ensuring their well-being and safety.
Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships and participating in community activities.
Promoting independence and self-advocacy skills.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of support provided via Digital Care Planning.
Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, such as family members, healthcare providers, and social workers., Retain Healthcare, Bristol are currently recruiting care assistants to work within specialist residential care homes and supported living services in Bath for ongoing shifts. You will be supporting adults of varying ability to live a normal life.
Helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible
Respecting residents' rights of choice, privacy and dignity
Supporting residents with mealtimes and personal care.
Helping residents with hobbies, activities and engaging in physical activities in a relaxed environment
Assisting with medication

Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a supported living setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle essential.
PMVA qualification or experience in caregiving or social work are desirable but not essential as all training will be given, Minimum 6 months paid experience in care setting
