Full Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic Ofsted rated 'good' school where all can thrive and staff are highly valued. We wish to appoint a Careers Coordinator to provide high quality, personalised guidance to our students. The role will involve working closely with the Careers Lead to ensure delivery of the careers programme across all year groups. You will support our Higher Education programme, providing high quality information, advice and guidance. St Ignatius College is:

  • The successful candidate will:
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude
  • Capacity and enthusiasm for hard work
  • Ability to work as part of a team, in a flexible and co-operative manner, whilst also being self-motivated
  • An effective communicator at all levels
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Be highly organised and have the ability to effectively time manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Have an excellent understanding of what makes outstanding careers provision
  • Be available for results days in August and other key evening events such as Open Evening, Higher Education Evening, Options Evening etc
