Full Job Description
This role will be critical to supporting the cost management of our people assets through:
- Management and leading the support to Technology budget holders for staff costs and headcount.
- Provision of monthly variance analysis and insightful commentary on key drivers for each Technology division.
- Lead on the budget and forecasting exercises for all Technology staff costs, including ensuring submissions are robust and the timely identification of any risks and opportunities arising.
- Provide clear communication with budget holders on budget and forecasting exercises both on timeframes and planning assumptions.
- Collaborate with Technology and Portfolio teams in the review of technology resource capacity for projects in order to support the improvement of budgeting for staff costs chargeable to projects.
- Ensure the accuracy of technology staff cost recharges (from all locations) to projects, using appropriate accounting processes.
- Collaborate with Technology team (and other relevant stakeholders) to ensure that contractor costs are accounted for in an accurate and timely manner against the relevant applications/Technology divisions.
Are you ready to make an impact? We're looking for candidates with a relevant accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ICEAW or similar), or those working towards one, or qualified by experience. You will excel at manipulating financial data to create clear, accessible outputs, and you'll have strong technical skills in Excel and Power BI. Your expertise in SAP or other EPM systems will be crucial.
