Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services - and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated., The GCIAAS service is designed to provide Information, Advice and Assistance to unpaid carers with the aim of supporting them in their caring role and encouraging them to look after their wellbeing.
Your role is to create a welcoming space in hospital settings offering carers the opportunity to talk about their situation and how to access support.
The Information Hubs are based in hospitals across Gwent and are facilitated by a range of partners and/or volunteers. This position is based in The Royal Gwent, with the possibility of providing support to other Hubs if required.
