Full Job Description
To provide safe and efficient maintenance of the Building Fabric and equipment within the hospital as directed by Estates Supervisors and Management,
- Working within a team or independently when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Repair fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations and manufacture guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing and door clearances.
- Install and maintain fire rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, and closers.
NVQ 2 Carpentry (Required). - BM Trada Trained (Desired).
- All aspects of fire door inspection and maintenance (Required).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Health & Safety awareness and safe working.
